President, Financial Advisor
As a Financial Professional, James Dabbs, has long been a concerned and active participant in the Maricopa County and Arizona Community. He has been dedicated to helping his individual and business clients to attain their personal and professional financial goals and objectives for over 30 years.
Through forward thinking, Jim stays on top of the constantly evolving financial field and further develops his professional skills by regularly attending industry training and certification programs. A firm believer in the value of higher education, Jim has an Associate Arts Degree from Los Angeles Harbor Community College, a Bachelor Arts Degree from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a Certificate of Advanced Standing towards a Masters Degree in International Management from The American Graduate School of International Management-Thunderbird, in Glendale Arizona.
Through a strong sense of purpose and belief in community action, over the years Jim has involved himself in the child adoption community as well as in supporting the Mesa Public Primary School System. Jim's wife Angela is a retired Registered Nurse and their two daughters, Hannah and Amanda are both currently working to pursue their goals.

Alex guides the firm’s growth, ensuring the team is on top of cutting edge financial planning and investment management strategies. He makes sure our fiduciary financial advisor services are continually evolving to meet the needs of our clients.
Alex is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist℠, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He earned a BBA in Finance from Midwestern State University and a MS in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. His office is in Tempe, Arizona where he lives with his wife and three children.
When he is not helping business owners and clients achieve financial independence, he enjoys traveling, gardening with his son, and attempting to keep up with his wife and father-in-law in sprint triathlons.

Client Relationship Manager
Hannah is a Client Relationship Manager who oversees the client onboarding process, paperwork, client requests, and marketing strategies. As James' oldest daughter, Hannah has always had an interest in wealth management and investment strategies. She received her bachelor's in Political Science and her Master's in Public Administration, both from Arizona State University. Hannah has always maintained an interest in public policy but now focuses her attention in the financial services industry.
Hannah works closely with other Administrative Staff in the industry and often collaborates best practices to ensure Desert Horizons Financial is staying up-to-date. She enjoys her weekends by spending time with her husband and two kids.
